Australia — Import Restrictions, Duties, and GST Policy
Shipments to Australia are subject to review by the Australian Border Force (ABF), the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), and the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (Biosecurity). Customs authorities may assess import duties, GST, inspection fees, or hold or refuse items that do not meet Australian import requirements. All such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
Personal Import Quantity Limits
Under Australia’s Personal Importation Scheme, most therapeutic goods (including vitamins and supplements) imported for personal use are generally limited to:
Orders that exceed reasonable personal-use limits may be delayed, refused, or treated as a regulated or commercial import.
Ingredient & Regulatory Restrictions
Certain products, substances, and therapeutic goods may be restricted, require a prescription, or require prior approval before import. Australian authorities may:

detain or destroy restricted or undeclared substances,
-
request documentation, permits, or ingredient verification, or
-
classify products as therapeutic goods subject to TGA rules.
Products containing controlled substances, hormones, prescription-only ingredients, or high-risk biological/plant material are more likely to be subject to inspection or refusal.
We do not control or influence Australian import determinations.
Ingredient Restrictions: The following substances are not allowed to be imported into Australia: MSM, DHEA, Bee pollen, Hoodia, Kava, Camu Camu powder, Cordyceps powder, HGH or 7-Keto, products with hormones such as Pregnenolone, egg yolks, dairy, banana, products containing certain enzymes, supplements containing hemp Oil. Dried beans, lentils, pet products and rice require an import permit that the order recipient will be responsible for obtaining, which may result in additional costs. Any product in powdered form may cause customs to quarantine an order or assess extra fees.
Biosecurity (BICON) Import Permits & Inspection
Some products may be subject to biosecurity controls or require an import permit, including but not limited to:

plant-derived ingredients, herbal material, dried seeds or grains

products containing bee, animal, or dairy derivatives

powdered or raw agricultural products
Where an import permit is required, the recipient is responsible for obtaining it prior to import. Failure to meet BICON conditions may result in inspection fees, quarantine, disposal, or return of the shipment.
Biosecurity inspection may extend delivery timelines.
Customs Duties, GST, and Clearance Fees
Australian import regulations may require payment of:

GST (Goods and Services Tax — currently 10%)

customs duties or assessment fees, and

carrier or brokerage processing charges
GST may apply to low-value imported goods sold to Australian consumers, including shipping charges where applicable. These amounts are determined by Australian tax and customs authorities and are payable by the recipient.
Responsibility for Charges & Returns
By placing an order shipped to Australia, the customer acknowledges that:

all taxes, duties, clearance fees, and import charges are the responsibility of the recipient

refusal or non-payment may result in the package being returned, destroyed, or abandoned

refunds for undeliverable or refused shipments follow our international return policy and may exclude shipping and customs-related costs
We cannot refund or reimburse customs fees, inspection charges, or taxes.
