Quick Tip

Aspirin for Everyday Aches & Pains
For many active people aspirin is a tried-and-true treatment for swelling and pain. It also helps lower fever, has been used to help manage heart disease, and may help reduce the risk of some cancers. Aspirin shouldn't be taken by everyone: talk to your pharmacist. When taking aspirin:
- DON'T use alcohol tobacco, and avoid blood-thinning supplements, such as ginkgo and vitamin E.
- DO try supplementing with vitamin C, as it may deplete this nutrient.
