Our Turkish mulberries are a satisfying snack, or they can enhance virtually any recipe. Try this sweet superfruit in trail mix, granola, yogurt, smoothies and baked goods.

Ancient Turkish Superfruit
Mulberries are native to the Morus genus of trees and can be found in many parts of the world nowadays, but they originated in the Far East, traveling along the Silk Road from China to Turkey. Beyond their sweet and delicate flavor, mulberries are an excellent source of nutrients including iron, calcium, vitamin C, protein and fiber. They also contain resveratrol, the anti-aging nutrient found in red wine.

After one bite of a dried mulberry you’ll know that it’s a unique fruit. Another thing that is rare about mulberries is their protein content. With three grams per ounce, the dried mulberry is indeed a superfruit! You’ll also find a noteworthy amount of iron, calcium and vitamin C in a serving of mulberries, along with dietary fiber.
