Maxi Health Research has been providing the public with high quality dietary supplements since 1974, but in 2009 we’ve actually bottled sunshine just for you! The Triple Maxi Omega Concentrate™ with Vitamin D3 is the most effective Omega–3 formulation on the market today. Now you can get the best possible fish oil product available coupled with the benefits of Vitamin-D3.
Enteric-coated fish oil is the best way to supplement Omega-3 intake. To ensure the following key benefits not found in non-coated fish oil supplements:
Those who experience nausea or reflux from other fish oils should find Triple Maxi Omega-3 Concentrate™ w/ Vitamin D3 Enteric Coated Fish Oil easier to digest. This unique coating withstands stomach acids and breaks down in the duodenum (upper portion of small intestine) and maximizes the body’s absorption of Omega-3 essential fatty acids, which means the active ingredients bypass the stomach and are digested in the small intestine, which can minimize annoying fishy aftertaste.
Omega-3 fatty acids are considered essential fatty acids. They are essential to human health but cannot be manufactured by the body. Extensive research indicates that omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation and help prevent risk factors associated with chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis. These essential fatty acids are highly concentrated in the brain and appear to be particularly important for cognitive (brain memory and performance) and behavioral function. Symptoms of omega-3 fatty acid deficiency include extreme tiredness (fatigue), poor memory, dry skin, heart problems, mood swings or depression, and poor circulation.
Uses: Clinical studies suggest that omega-3 fatty acids may be helpful in treating a variety of health conditions. The evidence is strongest for heart disease and problems that contribute to heart disease, but the range of possible uses for omega-3 fatty acids include:
High cholesterol: Fish oil supplements containing eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) have been reported in several large clinical studies to reduce low density lipoprotein (LDL or "bad") cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
High blood pressure: Several clinical studies suggest that diets or supplements rich in omega-3 fatty acids lower blood pressure significantly in individuals with hypertension. Clinical studies using fish oil supplements found that supplementation with 3 or more grams of fish oil daily can lead to significant reductions in blood pressure in individuals with untreated hypertension.
Heart disease: Clinical evidence suggests that EPA and DHA found in fish oil help reduce risk factors for heart disease including high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Clinical studies of heart attack survivors have found that daily omega-3 fatty acid supplements dramatically reduce the risk of death, subsequent heart attacks, and stroke.
Crohn’s Disease: Multiple research projects have shown that Crohn’s Disease patients can drastically improve their overall health and even decrease their risk for a flare-up by including omega-3 fatty acids (fish oils) into their diet.
Arthritis:Laboratory studies suggest that diets rich in omega-3 fatty acids may benefit people with other inflammatory disorders, such as osteoarthritis.
Osteoporosis: In a study of women over 65 with osteoporosis, those given EPA and GLA supplements experienced significantly less bone loss over 3 years than those who were given a placebo. Many of these women also experienced an increase in bone density.
Pregnancy: Infants who do not get enough omega-3 fatty acids from their mothers during pregnancy could be at risk for developing vision and nerve problems. When pregnant mothers take omega-3 supplements, it has shown to help increase the mental abilities of their babies.
Prostate: Laboratory and animal studies indicate that omega-3 fatty acids (specifically, DHA and EPA) may inhibit the growth of prostate cancer.
Eyes: A study presented at ARVO indicated that Omega-3 oils found in fish decreased the risk of developing Dry Eye Syndrome and retinal disease (retinopathy). DHA is found in high amounts in the retina and is important for normal vision.
Alzheimer’s: UCLA scientists have confirmed that fish oil is indeed a deterrent against Alzheimer’s, and they have not identified the reasons why.
Depression: The omega-3 fatty acids are important components of nerve cell membranes. They help nerve cells communicate with each other, which is an essential step in maintaining good mental health.
Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD): A clinical study used omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acid supplementation in 117 children with ADHD. The study found significant improvements in reading, spelling, and behavior in the children after 3 months of therapy. Another clinical study found that omega-3 fatty acid supplementation helped to decrease physical aggression in school children with ADHD.
American Heart Association: For adults with coronary heart disease: The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends an omega-3 fatty acid supplement (as fish oils), 1-gram daily of EPA and DHA. For adults with high cholesterol levels: They recommend an omega-3 fatty acid supplement (as fish oils), 2 - 4 grams daily of EPA and DHA. It may take 2 - 3 weeks for benefits of fish oil supplements to be seen.
The special enteric coating on this formula, keeps these key ingredients from being released in the stomach, and stays intact until it reaches the intestine. This not only allows for triple the absorption and thereby triple the benefit vs. traditional pills, but it also avoids the possibility of a fishy taste or fishy breath which might have put some cloud coverage on your sunny day. Maxi Health created Triple Maxi Omega Concentrate™ with Vitamin D3, so you can get the most out of your dietary supplement, and the most out of life!
