Bluebonnet’s Standardized Bilberry Fruit Extract Capsules provide Mirtoselect® from Indena, a standardized extract of anthocyanins (28.8 mg per serving), the most researched active constituents found in bilberry fruit. A clean and gentle water-based extraction method is employed to capture and preserve bilberry’s most valuable components. Historically, during WWII, airplane pilots consumed bilberry fruit jam to improve night vision. More recently, in addition to supporting eye health, bilberry fruit has been shown in research to support gastointestinal health.
